Claude Oscar Monet’s Nymphs offered the winning prize to the candidate of Past Winners Competition, Mrs Elodie Karkafiris, who had ranked third at FEA’s 2014 Greek Young Designers’ Competition.
This masterpiece of the French impressionist painter inspired the young designer who submitted her proposal to the competition that Hellenic Association of Furriers launched for a first time, in order to celebrate with all past winners, the 5th year of the competition which each year takes place in the framework of Fur Excellence in Athens, International Fur Fair with the support of NAFA.
All candidates proved in practice their particular interest to work with fur, acquiring all their knowledge, creativity, fantasy and willingness to achieve their best, breaking in some cases the frontiers of the fur production process.
The winning garment will be manufactured on behalf of Hellenic Association of Furriers and will be displayed during the days of the Fair and will be presented at the Gala Fashion Show as well.
